 What is the Booost 3K Run?
It’s a fun, family-friendly 3K run, walk, or roll that raises funds for the BOOST Awards, which support entrepreneurs with disabilities. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy a festive community atmosphere.

How do I register?

 Can I participate if I don’t want to run?
 Absolutely! You can walk, roll, cheer from the sidelines, or volunteer. This event is about inclusion and support about not speed.
What do the proceeds support?
All proceeds support the Boost Awards and year-round programs that empower entrepreneurs of all abilities with funding, resources, and business development opportunities. 
Are costumes required?
Costumes are not required but encouraged. 
Will there be anything for kids?
 Yes! Kids will receive candy at the finish line, and we’ll have a few family-friendly activities to keep the fun going.
How can I become a sponsor or donate?
 If you are interested in being a sponsor, please email us at erika@36business.org.  If you are interested in donating, please look at the donate page. Every dollar helps build a more inclusive future.
I can’t attend. How else can I help?
You can still donate, sponsor a runner, or help us spread the word online! 
Whats in the wavier?
By registering for or attending The Booost 3K Run, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. These conditions are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all participants. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you do not complete your registration or attend the event.

1. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in The Booost 3K Run involves physical activity that carries certain inherent risks, including the possibility of injury or illness. I affirm that I am in good health, physically able, and properly trained to take part in this event.
I agree to follow all instructions from event staff and race officials, and I understand that they have the authority to delay, modify, or cancel the event, or remove a participant from the course if safety or health becomes a concern.
By participating, I voluntarily accept full responsibility for any risks involved, including but not limited to:
  • Slips, trips, and falls
  • Contact with other participants, volunteers, or staff
  • Weather-related risks (such as heat, cold, or rain)
  • Road and terrain conditions during the event

2. Prohibited Items and Event Rules
For everyone’s safety, I understand that 
  • bicycles

  • scooters 
animals are not permitted on the racecourse. I agree to follow all posted rules and event guidelines.

3. Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of my participation, I, on behalf of myself and anyone acting on my behalf, release and hold harmless The Booost 3K Run, 36Squared Business Incubator, its staff, sponsors, partners, and affiliated entities from any liability, claims, or causes of action arising from my involvement in the event, including those resulting from ordinary negligence.
This release is intended to cover all risks associated with my participation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Photo & Media Release
I grant permission to 36Squared Business Incubator, the City of Chicago, and event partners to capture and use photographs or video of me during the event for promotional or informational purposes, without compensation.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
All registrations are final and non-refundable. The Booost 3K Run is a rain-or-shine event and will proceed in most weather conditions. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, including safety concerns or public health emergencies, no refunds will be issued.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying the organizers at least 15 days before the event.

6. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal items. The organizers cannot be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged belongings during the event.
