Disabled entrepreneurs face unique challenges when launching and growing businesses. The BOOST Awards offer funding, mentorship, and support to help them succeed. By joining this event, you’re not just running — you're championing equity, access, and opportunity.

Event Info & Guidelines

We’re excited to have you join us for the Booost 3K — a fun, family-friendly Halloween-themed run/walk supporting disabled entrepreneurs and caregivers. Here’s everything you need to know to participate safely and enjoy the day!

Registration & Waiver
  • All participants must register and sign a waiver before participating.
  • Minors require parental/guardian consent to participate.
  • Register via Eventbrite: Here and it will open a new page 
  • Pricing:
  • Adult: $35 ​
  • Child: $15 
plus, taxes and fees
  • Deadline to Register: October 25th 

Race Format
  • This is a fun run — all ages and paces are welcome!
  • Walking is allowed!
  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult

Costume Guidelines
  • Costumes are encouraged, but must be:
    • Family-friendly (no graphic, violent, or inappropriate attire)
    • Free of weapons or props that are sharp or dangerous (real or fake)
    • Safe — must not restrict vision, hearing, or movement

Safety Rules
  • Stay on the marked course at all times.
  • Follow instructions from volunteers and staff.
  • Water stations will be available along the route.
  • If you feel unwell, stop and ask for help.
  • No unauthorized bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, or skateboards.
  • No littering — use trash and recycling bins.

Strollers & Pets
  • Strollers are allowed
  • Only service dogs are permitted — no other pets

Weather & Refund Policy
  • This event is rain or shine
  • No refunds unless canceled by the organizers

Parking
  • Street parking is available
  • Two designated parking lots will be open for participants

Course Map & Description
  • Expect hilly terrain with a mix of sidewalk, trail, and road
  • The course has clearly marked start and finish lines
  • Water stations will be along the route

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with setup, check-in, water stations, and more!
